Mermaids are from Brooklyn

Perhaps these photographs deserve color, that is for another time. Instead, I find that when I look at a photo in black and white I notice more details. The color is almost distracting. These are from my archives, Mermaid Parade June 2019 Coney Island. For obvious reasons 2020 was cancelled and 2021 may not be in the cards. In 2022, I'm going all out. Previously, I bought a press pass which I intend to do again but next time, there will be a wig and some glitter for sure.
